Nguyễn Ngọc Thảo

My family immigrated to Australia from Vietnam via Indonesia and ultimately settled in Naarm/Melbourne which is Wurundjeri Country, where I was born and raised.

I acknowledge the sovereign custodians of the Country on which I create and connect on, which are the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. I recognise their inherent authority and expertise, which has guided stewardship of this land for millennia. I pay my deep respects to their Elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all First Peoples, and express my solidarity with their resistance against ongoing colonisation, cultural erasure and land occupation.
